So What's New Me 'Ode?
Recycled. Reclaimed. Eclectic. Shabby. Retro. Character. It's nothing new! But when it's done creatively it is better than new and far more interesting. Third world inspiration, second hand value but first rate quality. Original. And that's not the only reason why we have melded the unlikely collection of artefacts and arty feats in to this masterpiece of "Art Booteaux". There is a recession on. Nothing can be wasted! Anything that could be reused has been. Gone are the disposable, decadent days. Make the unviable, viable. Make something out of nothing. Not to mention that the planet is dying and we are all guilty! ..OK that's another band wagon, but relevant to jump on at this point!  If you can help then you should.  Disposable. Fickle. Plastic. Planned obsolescence. Chipboard. None of these you will find in this bigger picture! Comfortable. Unpretentious. Laid back. Well used, fit for use, there to be used and used to being used - you will get used to it!  No detail has been left to chance regardless of how haphazard it may seem.

So what's new? The building is old, the furniture is used, the staff...some more wise than others...! But I hope that each time you visit The Boot that you will notice something new, learn something new or meet someone new! Whatever the occasion and no matter what the weather I know you will find a relaxing space and warm atmosphere to welcome you back time and time again as new friends become old friends!
