The Boot Inn is situated in the historic village of Repton in South Derbyshire, in the Trent Valley between Derby and Burton-upon-Trent. It is a former coaching inn, dating back to 1649. Repton is the historical capital of the Saxon kingdom of Mercia, and is dotted with fantastic buildings of historical interest, an internationally acclaimed public school and the magnificent St Wystan's Church and crypt which is a supreme example dating from the 8th Century.
